Accessibility statement
1. Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or voice control. We build it to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
2. How accessible this website is
This website partly meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. We have tested it ourselves, with automated checks and by hand, but it has not yet been audited independently. We will update this statement after an audit.
3. What we have done
Every page has a clear heading structure and a link to skip to the main content.
Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the element in focus is always visible.
Text contrast meets level AA in both the dark and the light theme.
Images that carry information have text alternatives.
The animated backgrounds are decorative and hidden from screen readers. They pause when they are off screen and stop entirely if your system is set to reduce motion.
The layout adapts to small screens and to zoom, without cookies, pop-ups or time limits.
4. What does not work yet
The website is in English only. Arabic and German versions will follow; the German legal texts (Impressum, Datenschutzerklärung) are already available.
Our course catalogue is not yet available as a download. When it is, we will provide it as an accessible PDF.
5. Tell us about a problem
If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, tell us. Email contact@kasiski.org or call +49 1525 9640329. We reply within 1 business day.
6. About this statement
This statement is based on our own testing of the website.
